Accreditation safeguards a level of quality in education and degree you receive from an institution. The UK government has constantly upheld the standards and quality of its education.

The British Accreditation Council (BAC) is an autonomous body, set up in 1984 to be the national accrediting body for private post-16 education in the UK. BAC is responsible for setting standards within the independent further and higher education sector. It assesses the educational institutions in five major arenas, i.e. health and safety provisions, management and staffing, student welfare, management of quality and teaching and learning- delivery and resources.
