Chevening Scholarships for Students from Overseas
Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship program of one-year Master’s degree for graduates from anywhere in the world.
- Eligibility: The citizens of any country other than the UK or another European Union country or the United States of America are eligible for this scholarship.
Marshall Scholarships for American Students
Marshall Scholarships finance young graduates or soon-to-be graduates from the USA to study in the UK. It covers university fees, living expenses, thesis and daily travel grants, air fares to and from the United States.
- Eligibility: The United States citizens who hold a first degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States with a minimum GPA of 3.7 are eligible for Marshall Scholarship.
Scholarships and Fellowships for Students from Commonwealth Countries
The Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) is an international program that awards scholarships and fellowships for postgraduate study and professional development. These awards enable Commonwealth citizens to study for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in other countries. Any student of any nationality, studying at a higher education institution which is awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education can go for Erasmus Scholarship. This includes students taking part in Undergraduate degree, Master’s and Doctorate Programs.

Scholarships Offered by British Council
Beeline Scholarships
Students in a State Higher Education Institution enrolled in any of the following academic areas- social sciences and humanities, arts, engineering, IT, law, business administration, international relations, economy, exact and natural sciences are eligible for beeline scholarships. Students should be in their 2-4 year.
Tullow Group Scholarships Programme
The Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme allows students from countries where Tullow Oil works to undertake Master’s and postgraduate programs in oil and gas related subjects at universities in the UK. The Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme funds up to 110 post graduate, technical and vocational studies. Scholarship recipients come from a diversity of nations, including Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Gabon and Suriname.
Entente Cordiale scholarships
The Entente Cordiale scholarships fund French students who want to study in the UK, and British students who want to study in France for one year or at a postgraduate level. They award a range of scholarships in different disciplines. The scheme is overseen by the British Council France and the British Embassy Paris and is financed by the private sector.
